Martin Andrews (Director of Photography for Re-creations)
Martin Andrews (aka Martin Gruber) is a Director of Photography and entrepreneur in the Washington, DC area. He has shot commercials, industrials, and documentaries, including The Tivoli: A Neighorhood Landmark revisited which was featured at the gala re-opening of Washington’s historic Tivoli movie theater, and which later aired on WETA TV (PBS). He was a contributing DP/videographer on the upcoming documentary, Next Stop: Silver Spring and Silver Spring: Story of an American Suburb for WETA TV. He is founder of Manic Progressive Films, whose Doggone Afternoon won special commendations in the 2004 National Film Challenge, including Best Cinematography. He also directed and shot a short entitled, Blown for the 2006 National Film Challenge. He served as special effects set dresser on the feature film Species II, and was a freelance crew member for several WETA TV productions, including The News Hour with Jim Lehrer. Martin has been producing high-end wedding videos since 1998.
