JERRY WHIDDON (Narrator) is the former Producing Artistic Director of Round House Theatre (20yrs) in Bethesda, MD - also a founding member, co-founder and Artistic Director of Street 70 Theatre (9yrs). Jerry has acted and directed in New York - Off and Off-Off Broadway (Double Image, CSC Repertory, York Theatre, etc...) and in the Washington, DC region (Woolly Mammoth, Studio, Arena Stage, Olney). His directing credits include World Goes Round, Mystery School, Our Town, Three Days of Rain, Travels with My Aunt, Jack and Jill, The Swan. Favorite roles: A Body of Water (Moss),Tabletop (Marcus), Wintertime (Francois), Underneath the Lintel (solo), The Lion in Winter (Henry), Uncle Vanya (Vanya), The Misanthrope (Alceste), Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (George). As a film-tv-radio voice-over artist, he has been heard in A Woman Named Jackie (NBC), The Pelican Brief, On The Block (Yeager Films), Parade of Witnesses (PBS), Taxes Influence Behavior (PBS), Mapping Your World – National Geographic, and All My Sons, American Appetites, and A Lesson Before Dying for VOA/LA Theatre Works. Jerry has taught extensively in the region and throughout the East Coast. |
